Beauty Tip # 2: The Magic That is The Winged Eye.
If there's one make-up process I can never do without, it's applying eye liner on your upper eyelids. Specifically, the winged eye. I love it so much and highly recommend it because of how versatile it can really be and how it can instantly make you look made-up and glamorous.
What it does is open up your eyes and really define them. Unlike just the use of mascara, the definition is very minimal, unlike with eyeliner that defines your eyes and kind-of gives definition to your lashes too. But, using mascara with eyeliner on your top lid is very recommendable too.
There are 3 kinds of eyeliner we can find. Pencil, gel, and liquid. As for colors, you can almost find eyeliner in every color imaginable. But if you're just looking for an everyday look, I suggest you use black or brown. Personally, I prefer using a dark brown shade especially if you are to use it without eyeshadow. As for what kind of eyeliner to use, I prefer pencil without eyeshadow and gel for when I use eyeshadow. I don't usually use gel with my day makeup because it tends to smudge more, but if with eyeshadow, it serves as kinda like a powder that prevents the gel from smudging and using eyeshadow also needs darker eyeliner. Whatever type you use what's important is that you look for labels that suggest non-smudging and waterproof. This way you won't have dark smudges on your eyes.
Now, let's discuss the winged-eye. Common mistakes in doing the winged-eye is that it is exaggerated too much. The trick to having a subtle winged-eye is not to make the wing too long. I like doing this in applying eyeliner because it gives you a girly look but at the same time leaves you looking FIERCE!
Lastly, I'm not limiting the use of eyeliner just to upper eyelids. If you wish it (which I do as well), you can apply eyeliner on your waterline as well. What I suggest though is not outline the entire lower part of your eyelids, you could apply it almost 1/4 of your waterline. This way, the outline of your eyes in not to dark.
When using eyeliner, it is always better to do the makeup on your entire face. But if you're not too much a fan of that, make sure to place lip color as well as a partner to your winged eye, for as you may discover, a beautifully colored lip and well-defined eyes go together perfectly!

Yes, this is in the Philippines. Believe it.
Though I have been reprimanded and caught for the possession of something illegal, and because of this people may have judged me of being a junkie for it and I am saying now that I'm really very much NOT, there is one thing that I will admit of being a junkie of and will even admit it at the top of my lungs and maybe even willing to go to jail go for if illegal (:p) is....
my being a LUXURY BEACH JUNKIE!!! ♥
It is no secret that I have visited a few resorts in the Philippines that have made my heart melt and made my case of obsessing over beach trips even worse. But I recently discovered a resort that will not only make my heart melt, but every other resort in the Philippines melt because of its OMFG beauty.Just look:
This my friends is Bellarocca Island Resort and Spa; Yes, ISLAND! not just a cove, A FREAKIN' PRIVATE ISLAND!
And yes, this is well in fact in the Philippines (unbelievable, I know), particularly in an island south-west of Mariduque. It recently opened last Feb. 2009 and will be fully functional at the end of this year.It is to no surprise that this place is also omfg in its price, for aside from your almost 3k plane fair to Marinduque, the cheapest accommodation you can get is $420. Let me do the calculating of the rate in peso (considering the 42php exchange rate) for you as to save you from falling off your chair. $420 is equal to 17,640php. And this is the cheapest accommodation for one night! Well, heaven has its price. lol
Since it will take me forever to save up for a trip like this considering my lifestyle now as a not-yet-graduated 20yr old, I have figured out the best time to visit this heavenly place: My Honeymoon. (Yes Vance, I'v decided:p). Well if I don't get married, this place is in my top priority of places to visit in this life of mine. I mean, wouldn't you?
