BEAUTY TIP #1: must-have in your kikay kit!
Since this will also serve as a beauty blog, then I'll be posting a few beauty and make-up tips of mine. Hmm and maybe a few styling tips as well. Wait and see! For now here is my 1st beauty tip! What's a must have in your kikay kit? PETROLEUM JELLY.
Yes, you read it right; PETROLEUM JELLY. Nothing fancy or expensive this time.
Petroleum Jelly has many uses. But for your kikay kit needs, its a perfect lip balm! I personally like using petroleum jelly for lip balm instead of those offered by other cosmetic brands. Why? It's deep moisturizing and colorless. Perfect for putting on top of your lip color and it's also perfect for those cold days where windburn occurs a lot. Not to mention, it's extremely cheap and will last long. My small container of petroleum jelly lasts for at least 5 months. This way you have more money to spend on other make-up products. I use petroleum jelly as lip balm the most at night. Before you sleep, put a generous amount on your lips and in the morning you'll have perfectly moisturized pink lips.
Another way that I use petroleum jelly which i absolutely loove is using it as make-up remover. Have you ever had those times that your eye line smudges unexpectedly? Not to mention, eye liner is hard to remove without proper make-up removers or washing your face. With petroleum jelly in your kit you have an easy make-up remover! Simply dab a piece of tissue in the jelly and use that to wipe off the desired make up mis-hap. This is also great if you wore a lot of eye make-up during the day and don't want to rub your face off while washing your face just to get the make-up off. You'll see that the make-up is removed entirely and quickly! Also, as you remove your make-up you also moisturize your face.
This is a perfect example that to enhance your beauty you don't need to spend so much. So if you have a bottle pf petroleum jelly lying around in the house, go grab it and place some on your lips then include it in your kikay kit. Believe me, it's a beauty life saver!
